Join in the fun at our 3rd annual Words for Birds program. We’ll have two great writing workshops (one for kids and one for adults), followed by a bring-your-own picnic on the prairie. After lunch, participants are welcome to read some of their work alongside published local poets. This year’s adult workshop leaders and readers will be Marjorie Saiser and Amy Plettner, and Jason “the Birdnerd” will lead the kids poetry fun. The public is invited to come hear the readings at 1:00 pm even if they do not participate in the earlier workshops.
Free admission (donations welcome).
